LTO - PITX Parañaque Licensing Center

Arrived 10: 30, got my license (paper only) at 12: 00PM.

This was on a Saturday for a renewal transaction. Good thing it is airconditioned, a medical clinic is beside there, and you can eat while waiting.

UPDATE (1/9/24) : Got my card license last Jan 6 (Saturday) in less than 10 minutes

Just got my non-pro license today at LTO PITX. The news is true, this licensing office is fast and efficient. Arrived at PITX at 5: 30AM from Fairview, earlier than expected, so I just waited for the office to open, ate breakfast at McDonald's and found a comfortable seat near the branch. Five minutes before 8AM, with only four clients waiting, they started processing documents. Theoretical exam was fast since there were multiple computers available. The practical exam was a breeze since the instructors were considerate and understanding, they also gave us useful tips, especially when having a hard time during the exam. I didn't feel intimidated since they were so friendly and caring about our welfare. Got my license within two hours! For reference my student permit took me four, and I thought that was fast.

Worth the travel! If I can give 100 stars out of five, I would. PITX, please stay this way. This is a breath of fresh air from my horrendous experiences with other government agencies.

Fast transaction, convenient, staff are friendly and approachable. Took me 3hrs to get my new license.

Fast processing of my Driver's License. The staffs are accommodating. Also gave me road safety tips for driving.

Got my driver's license today. Arrived at 11am and around 1: 30pm, they already released my license. The staff there are attentive and accommodating. Also, after the practical exam, Sir Domi gave additional tips for driving and road safety. Kudos to LTO - PITX branch. Keep up the good work.

Nakuha ko rin yun Non-professional license ko rito sa LTO PITX kahapon. Smooth naman ang flow nila. Hindi mo na kailangan pumila ng sobrang tagal. Maganda rin dahil naka aircon dito at maraming kainan din sa loob. Maayos din ang office nila kasi iisang lugar lang siya nakalagay hindi katulad sa ibang LTO branches na hiwa-hiwalay pa ang area para sa application. Isa ito sa matinong LTO na napuntahan ko. Dapat doon ako malapit sa airport pero buti na lang nahanap ko itong branch na ito at tiningnan ko rin ang mga reviews nila. Tamang tama lang na dito ako pumunta. Mabait naman ang mga staff dito pati yung instructor ko sa actual driving test. Ito lang yun downside rito, mahal ang mga bayarin para sa Non-professional license lalo na sa medical. Almost ₱2K ang nagastos ko para sa lahat. Pero mabuti naman at natapos din ako.

Recommend ko pa rin sa inyo ang LTO PITX, maraming tao pero hindi naman aabot sa siksikan. Mag review din kayo para sa theoretical exam maraming videos sa Youtube na makakatulong sa inyo, wag lang kayo magdepende sa iisang reviewer. Tsaka, wag kayong kabahan sa actual driving test kasi tutulungan naman kayo ng mga instructors doon. Tapos, tandaan niyo na itago niyo ang mga resibo. Ayun lang naman

A Guide to the Application Process for Student's Permit to Non-Professional Driver's License at PITX

1. Proceed to PITX 2nd Floor, LTO is at the far left near McDonalds but before Popeyes
2. Proceed to Windows 1-4 and ask for the blue application form, fill out your details and go to Window 3 for verification. Submit the ff.requirements for Non-Professional License:
- 1 Valid Student's Permit with LTO Receipt
- 1 Practical Driving Certificate (Driving School)
- 1 LTO Medical Certificate (Valid for 2 Mos.)
3. Pay 100 pesos for the theoretical examination fee at Window 23 (60 items, 60 minutes, fully online)
4. If passed, wait to be called for the photo and fingerprinting at Window 16. If failed, come back after 1 calendar day to retake the exam.
5. After being called, pay 500 pesos for the practical driving exam upstairs (For MT & AT (Car), the training unit is a base model 2017 Toyota Wigo)
6. If passed, wait for your card to be printed and pay the licensing fee of ~600 pesos at Window 23. If failed, return after 7 calendar days to retake the exam.
7. Card printing and releasing at Window 12 takes about 45 minutes.

Summary: The hall can sit 120 persons; but when I applied only <30 people were seated. The average wait time is 45 mins for each step from the point you submit your application until the first instance you are called. The total time I spent at PITX was 6 hours - from 8 AM to 1 PM. The licensing hall isn't hot, the entire hall is airconditioned. Bring a jacket, if cold. There are affordable food options nearby such as McDonalds, Mr. Donut, Lawson, and Popeyes. Restrooms are also nearby. If you were called, and not present in the hall when you were called, proceed to Window 1 to re-inquire about your application.

Routes: If coming from One Ayala (Makati), ride the bus - EDSA Carousel - to PITX (Parañaque). The fare is only 24 pesos one way. Average travel time is 30 minutes with weak traffic on a weekday

I had a great experience applying for my non-professional license here. The whole process took around 5 hours (there was already a line when I arrived, but standard time to expect is around 4-5 hours) and was very efficient. I arrived, gave my printed APL (but they also provide), my LTO-accredited med cert (there's also a service here if ever), my student's permit with the original receipt, and my driving school certificate of completion.

The process was to wait in the waiting area => go to payment area to pay for Theoretical Exam => wait in waiting area then wait in TE waiting area => take exam (would be good to study beforehand cause some questions were tricky!) => wait in waiting area if exam passed then pay for Practical Exam => Go to upper floor carpark to take PE.

I took my exam with Sir Dommy Episcope and I really appreciated the tips he gave me to improve my driving afterwards. They were all really helpful to me as a beginning driver. Thank you so much Sir Dommy and thank you also to LTO-PITX! You guys are all so great, friendly and helpful

Some tips:
- Study for the theoretical, take the free practice test online
- Bring cash (need around 1,185 for whole thing, good to give exact amount also)
- There's a Popeyes and donut stand right beside for snacks
- There's a bathroom at the end of the hall

One of my most pleasant experience of any government agency. I went there as early as 7 AM anticipating potential rush of people applying since inabot ako maghapon sa isang LTO Mall branch for student permit last time (mainit, walang enough space or sitting area). I got my non-pro license by 1145. Sobrang smooth ng process, WALANG masungit na LTO Officers.after passing the online test i-congratulate ka pa, after doing practicals, may fist bump pa si officer before saying goodluck. Nakakatuwa. The PITX LTO is a gem on it's own. Ang lamig and you may want to bring a jacket, plenty of chairs in the waiting area at daming food choices since nasa loob sya ng terminal. Only con but this goes to PITX in general, sobrang hina ng coverage ng Globe. Overall one of the best agency office experience.

Got my drivers license here in PITX. The application was convenient. The process was smooth and easy to follow.

This is definitely one of the better LTO's. Staff are kind and helpful (special shoutout to Sir Dommy Episcope). The place is clean, air-conditioned, and theres plenty of seating. Although expect typical long hours in the LTO as I arrived at 9am and finished around 3pm. But at least there's food in the area and restroom facilities are clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient to be open on a Saturday. Keep up the good work!

Sobrang bagal na nga ang yayabang pa ng mga empleyado, hindi naman lahat pero sa payment window ang yabang pati yung taga romblon daw sobrang yabang para bang nakakatawa pa yung paninigaw nya sa mga tao at nagtatawanan mga kasamahan nya

Maayos mga staff very organized angbsystem. Aircon waiting area.daming food available sa paligid once na magutom ka.

I had my DL renewal here. Very well organized. They have a waiting area enough for all the applicants to sit on while waiting for their names or number to be called. Staff are polite and very accomodating. It took exactly 1 hour for my new DL to be released.

My experience in renewing my license was very good here. The staff was amazing. Courteous and sensible. Everyone seemed to be doing their job well. Hubby and I were able to get our DL quickly.
