The agent in Pals ticketing office at Terminal 2. Nika Bernal is worth the praise for being friendly and courteous.

Horrible Chicken Adobo, served on the flight from MNL to SFO. It was really stinky (smell of old rancid chicken), the worse adobo ever! Had to trash the whole dish, what a shame to ruin their national comfort food by using poor quality ingredients.
The good thing is that stewardesses were nice & attentive. And they also provide the little toiletries bag (socks/ toothbrush/sleep mask) for economy class.

Every services are good and food meals are delicious. PAL Staff are good One thing needs improvement is the time delay of aircraft boarding of passengers. It should be effecient like other aircraft services in other country.

My flight was listed to leave at 125 pm. We took off after 7 pm. They didn't tell us much and said it was going to leave at 5pm. 5 PM went by and nothing. Finally about 6 pm they changed gates and the flight took off after 7 pm. The flight was smooth and service was good.

Do not think about booking at all on Philippine Airlines, because they change the flight date every time and do not alert you or even answer the phone. A very bad experience.

PAL is a national disgrace. Their motto should be "Some changes occurred to your flight". They will sell you tickets then overbook your seat (a.k. A. "your flight has been cancelled"), or leave you with a 5-minute layover, messing your trip. Then it's YOUR responsibility to figure out a solution; and hope that they will not hit you with a fee for changing to a suitable flight. (And let's not forget the disgraceful way they handled the pandemic).

I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt and normally don't give very low reviews, but I'm sure many others can agree with this. Philippine Airlines deserves 0 stars. We traveled internationally about 18 hours to get to Manila. And from Manila, we decided to give Philippine Airlines a chance despite all the bad personal experiences and stories. Though after our recent experience, we decided to avoid PAL at all costs and to support other airlines instead.

Checking in and dropping off our bags in NAIA was a smooth process. It was after we passed through security that it started. Originally we were only supposed to have a 5-6 hour layover, but we were very delayed. We were on the plane and haven't even taken off 30 minutes after we were supposed to land after our final destination. We arrived 2 hours later than scheduled.

The stewardesses were very rude and didn't try to be understanding. To my knowledge on the Philippine Airlines website, passengers are able to take one carry on and one personal item. We traveled internationally with these items and from what was written on the website, we didn't think any different. However once we boarded, there was barely any space in the overhead for our carry-ons by our seats. Our backpacks, though appear bulky, fit perfectly under the seat in front of us. But since we were seated in the exit row, we cannot put any belongings by the exit row. Fortunately the
stewardesses helped us and made space in the overhead compartment, but one of them reprimanded us in front of all the passengers saying that we brought too many things. No one stopped us or asked about how much baggage we're bringing during check in, and the PAL website said otherwise. We told her that we came internationally and we abided by PAL's website but we were continuously scolded and told off in public without any understanding to our situation. If we came internationally and spent about 34 hours traveling in flights and layovers altogether, where would we put the rest of our things if we didn't leave the airport?

Anyways if you want to be treated with respect and understanding, which is the bare minimum that a business should treat their patrons, I urge you to give your money and business to other airlines. There's absolutely no reason to choose PAL unless it's the last option in the world.

Checking at Philippines Airlines for Domestic flights are very easy and convenient. People at the bouncer are very helpful. Very nice and courteous. Every time I come to the Philippines to visit my hometown, I always take Philippines Airlines. I am a Mabuhay member in Domestic flights since in the USA I do not use Philippines Airlines coming to the Philippines since I live in the Mid Atlantic and Southeast of Florida. Every time I purchase tickets domestic flights I always get First Class to have access in Mabuhay Lounge to have a cozy and comfortable place to wait for my flight. When I bought our tickets we specifically asked the ticket guy in Ortigas, Philippines that we would love to take the first class to avail the lounge and we were told that there is no first class in the flight to iloilo only Comfort class which is considered a first class and are allowed to avail the comfort of the Mabuhay Lounge of the Philippines Airlines and upon checking in we were satisfied with the checkin counter and was again told that we can avail the lounge. We went to the Mabuhay Philippines Airlines Lounge and was told by a certain Nicole Zabala whom she introduced herself as the supervisor at the lounge stated that as Comfort Class passengers, my husband and I are not allowed and only people that has a written paperwork coming from the President of the Philippines are allowed to use the lounge. I specifically told her that when we bought the ticket we wanted first class to avail the lounge. We were told that the airplane being use gas only comfort class which is equivalent to first class and we can use the lounge. It was embarrassment that I felt and the country of my birth that I felt the discrimination and I have not felt any discrimination in my line of work in the UK and USA. I gave 4 star for the check in counter but -1 to people at the Mabuhay Lounge who I felt I am discriminated and was told when I bought the ticket that we are allowed to use the lounge since the comfort class is the same as first class. We did not have a right explanation from the supervisor and I opted to send my grievances to the Philippines airlines higher authorities about this discrimination I had encountered in the terminal 2 Mabuhay lounge…

Awful airport in Manila and inflight experience. The plane had no running water in the toilets for people to wash their hands. The cabin smelled really bad like hot sick and the air was too dry. I had the worst dry throat after only 10 minutes.

The non-dairy vegan meal that I had preselected had dairy butter. It wasn't until after I had tasted this butter on my food that I read the label and seen that it wasn't vegan butter. I was nearly sick!

Philippines airlines "always" changes the gate, not only in Manila but also in Cebu.my friends who travel in different date told me the same thing - 4 days in a row.

Such an uncomfortable Terminal 2. No seats. No duty free. Cebu airport was much better by far. I should had done my shopping in Cebu and not expect Manila T2 to have shops around. The worst, all foodies are only Cash! Come on! You are not offering International flight services. So disappointed!

When unloading the car, there are cart boys waiting to assist. We paid 250 piso for this and they bring to the first X-ray belt. Once inside they bring you to a check in area but first you need to have your check in bags opened and inspected! So if you taped and tied up your boxes real nice, they’ll just cut it open!

At the check in counter, you weigh every single piece of check in and carry on luggage (economy is 7kg limit carry on).
They make sure and ask you numerous times if you have any breakables or lithium batteries in check in. You show them your passport and vaccination card. They hand you your boarding pass.

Then you go through immigration.

Once inside, there are little shops for food, drinks and pasalubong.

What irritated me the most was we went through security and X-rays twice prior to entering and sat at gate 7. We had to move to gate 8, which was behind glass doors and had to go through security X-ray again! It’s the stupidest thing ever! Once inside waiting areas for gate 8-11, if you need to use the restroom, when you return, you need to go through security X-ray check again!

Other than the numerous security checks, they have free Wi-Fi for 3 hours.

Overcrowded, too hot (AC not working, 31 inside), lack of seats, and the worst is that all drinking station are not functional (they want you to buy drinks I guess). One of the worst terminals ever. Also if you have a transfer at night, you'll have to wait outside since it only opens at 2 am. I booked a return flight with PAL here, I'll avoid this company/terminal (dedicated to pal) if I have to go through this terminal again. Toilets are dirty

Would only fly Philippine Airlines to the Philippines as it's the only airline that flies direct from Melbourne and good service good atmosphere

The ticketing department is very efficient. There was a problem with my ticket which I was unaware of until I tried to check in. Regrettably the problem was solved by me paying a considerable amount of money.

The worst airlines I have ever experienced in my life!
Today:
1. Overbooked their flight
2. Gave me voucher to hotel, lunch, dinner and room but
3. I have been waiting 2 hours for the transfer to the hotel which 30 min away from the airport. I am still waiting!
4. I have to be back in 4 hours including 60 min ride. Pointless already!
5. Manager in CS don't know what she is doing, transfer to hotel they don't know what they are doing!
Disaster!
Be careful!

NON OFW - coast guard check your QR code.
Then will check your hotel Booking confirmation and vaccination certificate. Then another man show your QR code again.
Then you can get your luggage, after immigration officers for declaration of things you need to declare.

Arrived 5am, leave the airport
2pm. To much wasted time on line. Lack of staff to accommodate the passengers needs. Only one person taking temperature.paid P4K For swab test. And car service for your quarantine destination.
On my personal point of view, why they dont take swab test right away (upon arrival) if they
Suspect were contaminated.
Got my vaccine in USA since March, negative on my swab test prior to my departure.
Then quarantine for 10 days again in the phil. With our own expenses in the hotel.
IS THERE A BETTER THING TO DO FOR VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS?

Dumaguete department of Tourism said acceptance letter will be issued by OWWA in Manila airport. Instead these dimwits didn't give me anything and didn't let me on my flight, making me lose money and time.
