More THAN 2 YEARS AKONG NAGING VOLUNTEER SA PRC NHQ nakakatawang isipin na nag pasa ako ng resume pero sinungaling mga tao dyan halatang pang nag singungaling pa sila sa dad ko ang sabi interview nlang daw or may inaantay na approval sa agency palusot nila umabot na ng 1month umasa ang dad ko aasikasuhin ako dhil may experience ako dun. Hndi ko sinasabi to para siraan sila sinasabi ko lang nangyare but its ok hndi naman ako umasa na tatanggapin ako dyan dhil medyo mapride or toxic na ang mga tao dyan (staff lalo na mga taong mataas ang position) palibhasa kse minamaliit nila ako nun ng dhil lang sa VOLUNTEER LANG AKO. Umabot pa sa punto na ilang beses pinahiya binastos at pinagtatawanan palibhasa kse alm nila VOLUNTEER LANG AKO. Makadiyos ang tatay ko at may sakit. Kahit dun pinagkakaisahan ako ng mga staff inaasar, pinapahiya, pinagtatawanan ganun ang mga tao dyan (ganun ang ginawa habang kumakain ako lunch break) sa totoo lang ayoko malaman ng dad ko na gnun ang trato ng tao saken dyan. Ok lang diyos na ang bahala na sa knila atleast hindi ako gumanti dahil never ako na katulad nila.

I would like to thank Ms. Andrea Castro and her male co staff who assisted us in an online registration which me and my husband not familiar We dont have GCash kaya sila na din nagasikaso ng payment namin. As a regular blood donor, I have been to different facilities to donate blood, but Philippine Red Cross is my go-to for a very pleasant blood donation experience. The headquarters is clean, the staff are all professional, friendly and organized, and you can get your blood donation done in less than 30 minutes (rest excluded).

If interested to donate, please see some reminders below.

Preparation before donating blood:
1. Have enough rest and sleep (minimum 8 hours, will be rejected if lacks sleep).
2. No alcohol intake 24 hours prior to blood donation.
3. No medications for at least 24 hours prior to blood donation.
4. Have something to eat prior to blood donation, avoid fatty food.
5. Drink plenty of fluid, like water or juice

What to expect:
Before blood donation

You will be asked to fill up a Donor's Form upon arrival at the blood collection site.
Questions regarding your health history wil be asked by a trained professional staff.
Your weight, blood pressure, pulse rate and temperature will be checked.
You will be examined by a physician.
Small sample of blood will be taken to check your blood type and hemoglobin level.
Screening and selection procedure will usually take  about 10 to 15 minutes.

During Blood Donation
You will be asked to lie down on the blood donor's couch for blood collection. This will take about 10 to 15 minutes.

After Blood Donation
You will be advised to rest for 10 more minutes.
Beverage and simple snacks will be provided.

Tumawag ako to inquire, yung sumagot ang rude and binabaan agad ako after ibigay ang sagot nya na hindi ko na intindihan dahil may biglang background noise sa end ko. She never gave me a chance na mag follow up question.

Accommodates early before the scheduled time of our vaccine Janssen or J&J and the staffs are polite and hospitable even the guard let us parked our car at 7pm thank you PRC.

It was very systematic.i would like to commend Hannah she was really helpful.just dont know her last name.she assisted me in registering till instructing me how to get my saliva test.

Mabilis ang pila.kaya lng yung kasama ko nag positive.nagpa paswab ulit sa pasay.negative naman.false alarm.

Location is accessible. Molecular laboratory is complete with rhe test needed specially for covid test.

Visited this place two weeks ago when my mother needed an RBC for transfusion. The place is clean and organize. Protocols are being observed and attendants are accommodating.

Regular donation today. Admin and registration a bit tedious but the extraction was very smooth

I was hoping that blood donors would be given parking slots for safety and convenience.

Best place to be in this Covid times! You really feel safe and healthy! All staff - yes all of them, no exceptions, believe you me - are courteous, solicitous and caring!

Staffs are accomodating if younhave any inquiries. Went here for a blood donation and process is smooth. Nurses are friendly. Blood donation is open even on weekends and holidays.

I am happy with red cross in general. But my experience this afternoon (Saturday, 14 September 2019) was not good. I think there is a need to improve the services of one Security Personnel.

I have been to many Red Cross offices and the National Headquarters has the worst Security personnel that I have encountered.

Every 3 months at nagdo-donate ako ng dugo dito. 24 hours open ang facility pero yung donation 8am to 5pm lang. Maayos naman turing nila sa mga tao tska mababait yung staff. Yung nurse na nag-assist sakin, cute tska friendly.
