Sambo Kojin SM Fairview

Unlike the other Sambo Kojin branches, this one is a little chaotic, but it is something that the management can't control. This is just based on what we've experienced.
Also, the food in this branch is taking so long to refill, plus not a lot of options even from the collab buffet. I also asked for a fruit shake, it is what I like the most on Sambo Kojin, but then, the crew told me that it is not available because the blender is not working well for the last 2 weeks. Lol.
When it comes to service, it was okay. But I waited for like 10-15minutes before I got my receipt because the people from the cashier are discussing something about wrong punching of receipt.
Atmosphere, from what I've mentioned, it's a little chaotic. It is a buffet restaurant but I didn't feel satisfied at all. We ended up walking out the resto very early and went to a coffee shop instead.

A lot of things are not available, especially a high chair for kids. Service is a bit poor.

Im enjoying eating here like no other. Staff are friendly and the vast array of food are all delicious.

Our go to restaurant na kainan kapag may occasion, love the foods since super daming choices.

There's heaps of food selection from Asian to Western delicacies. Not too bad for pricing you can eat all you can. Premises are clean and there's a comfort room as well. Highly recommended and worth a penny.

The best Sambokojin experience thus far! I've been going to this establishment for decades and I'd have to say, this is peak Sambokojin! We arrived earlier which helped, and I actually maxxed out my sushi limit. The fish were fresh and the Maki variations were interesting.

The area was also spacious and allowed for a great experience going back and forth to the buffet stations. There are also areas at the back which allows for group dining.

All in all, this is a great experience that renewed my faith in the brand. Looking forward to many more decades of buffet eating to come!

Pls do better. The worst wait ever. Unacceptable to walk-ins. The staff wont treat you well. Due to employee rudeness, you may feel like pleading merely to enter this restaurant. Arrived at 3: 38pm; according to the staff member at the front desk, walk-ins wont be asked to wait in line; instead, they’ll call to register by 4: 45pm. In order to determine who arrived first, those who are waiting started the line on their own. 4: 45pm. Despite the apparent line on the side of walk-in, a staff member came & announced on microphone to fall in line. As a result, some people stablished another line, which is when the disputes began. Despite the numerous complaints from visitors, the staff did not attempt to manage the disorder. Large number of guest just left & decided not to eat there.

They keep bragging about this resto that I should try it. Eventually I did, even though I'm not a big eater. Staff are very kind and helpful, foods selections are amazing! You can also grilled something and heaps of banchan to choose from the table. Booking online make the price cheaper, it cost around $25. Dunny is also in the premises which is a plus. This Resto can accommodate more than 500 for sure. Highly recommend this place, great location, cheap, very clean and food are amazing!

Gone here Dec 30,2022. Friday. Lunchtime. This is actually one of my fave buffet because of its deserts. For P988 per pax, you get to choose from Filipino, Japanese, Korean & some other dishes. I like the lechon, roast beef, & noodle soup. Staff are attentive & assist you with your requests. I love that we are 5 pax but they gave us 2 tables which makes very comfortable. I also love that they have 6 flavors ice cream with 6 diff toppings. Praise GOD thank you very much Sambojin SM Fairview

Food and ambience is great. Service is ok, few attendants so you have to find someone to help you out or if you need anything.

Customer service is poor.

Also, book your schedule or else you will pay extra if you walk-in.

Used to be good. There are variety options to chose from and you can never get bored out of it for the second time. Now I feel like the food are still the same, less Deserts are present, and not to mention the service here is poor and grilling's here are left dirty. (there's also a plate under the table)

HORRIBLE SERVICE. The receptionist told us to wait in line, which we did for 1.5hours. Only to find out she was listing other walk-ins and prioritizing them over those who were waiting in line. What’s the purpose of directing us to wait in line if other walk-ins would be prioritized instead? HORRIBLE, VILE SERVICE and we didn’t even get seated yet. Don’t go here.

SUPER HORROR STORY.

Frankly, they don't deserve any star. Very bad experience with their front desk. We initially asked the queueing process since it's a Saturday. As of this 6: 26PM, the front desk is telling us the first come, first served process. We were asked to fall in line and wait for our turn. After an hour, I checked with the front desk and all of a sudden, there's a list of people who placed reservations.

The front desk did not check with the people in line. Out of nowhere, as a person who followed the initial instructions of the front office/desk, I am placed 18th in line after patiently waiting for me turn. Their front desk claimed that there are reservations as early as 5pm and when I told her that this was not disclosed at the time I initially asked for instructions before queueing in line. There were no reservations then and frankly, there is a disconnect with what the front office is saying.

We got seated at 7: 49PM and were told that they serve until 9pm.

DO NOT GO HERE WITHOUT INITIAL RESERVATIONS. BEST TO GO CELEBRATE SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO BAD, NO GOOD QUALITY OF FOOD CAN COMPENSATE FOR THE HASSLE FROM THEIR FRONT OFFICE. THIS IS NOT WORTH IT.

Pass! They directed us to wait for more than hour. So we waited patiently in line. We heard the other people in line talking and thinking of bailing because all of a sudden, there was a list.so they were leaving. So were like… what list? The front desk was apparently accepting walk-in ‘pa-lista’ and was prioritizing the ‘pa-lista’. So offhand, she wasted the time of those in line because suddenly, we were at the bottom of the list. Note that these were not advanced reservations in the ‘pa-lista’. They’re also walk-ins. Bad bad service.

Before it was great but after pandemic the quality and the quantity of food got reduced, I only went for Vanilla Ice cream but it's also consumed by other customers so it easily run out. The selection of foods were few now, pandemic really destroy its glory days.

Food was ok, nagkaubusan lang ng plates maybe because nagsidatingan ang mga tao, peak hour kasi. What I didn't like much was the restroom, its very small only 2 cubicles, pipila ka talaga.

We availed of the graduation promo and made reservations. We got a discount for making reservations on top of the grad promo since we satisfied the requirements for both.
We came at almost 1pm. It's quite unfortunate that some food didn't get refilled anymore (takoyaki, on the sushi/maki station, sukiyaki and ramen). We didn't grill anything because we were famished and too exhausted to do it but I saw that the meat selection is good and inviting and well stocked. If I may suggest that they balance the distribution of the food. At the closing for the lunch service there are many leftovers on certain dishes while other dishes wasn't refilled even at around 1pm.
Food quality is still good. Still wide array of selection. But it's still quite sad that the food you want is no longer available and the food they have you cannot eat.
