SM Cinema Megamall reviews
49 No outside food policy now in effect!
Seats are old and needs to be replaced, especially at the lower portion near the screen
The SM Cinema Megamall is fair enough. Well the cinema is kinda old. Airconditioned is not that cold and not well maintain. And I hate them for not allowing the outside food to enter the cinema. Hello! I don't like popcorn! I would like to eat rice.just kidding. I would like to eat chips that I can find in their supermarket.
Always a good experience, just let the public bring their own dang food. Your own food selection sucks.
Never been a fan of Megamall cinemas. The sound system is bad and no matter where you sit, the screen feels like it's so far away. The only reason to watch in Megamall is that it has the only IMAX theater near my place.
Aside from the issue about no outside food, the seats at the regular cinemas are the most uncomfortable of any modern cinema house in the bigger malls of metro manila.they should charge half the price if they dont repair/upgrade these seats.
If you want to watch some movie at a mediocre level cinema house SM regular cinema is a good option. Although what I don't like about a recent change is customers CANNOT bring OUTSIDE food or drinks inside! This is ridiculous because their Snack Time (official movie food outlet) doesn't have complete menu. What if we can to bring a CBTL drink because we feel sleepy want to focus watching? What if we want to bring ice cream? Also the counters are only 2 and not enough to accommodate all customers who have no option but to buy food from their Snack Time! They better revoke this policy!
Overall satisfied with my experience. Just somehow wish that I could bring in snacks from other stores.
The place is cool and picture is fine but i don't like the policy of no bringing of food outside the cinema tha's a no no.
Comfy seats buy not so posh considering that they were one of the first SM Cinemas opened. The popcorn and other food choices offered by SM Cinema Snack Time is also midrange, could definitely be better for the price.
The seat (L13) if I remember right is broken. Luckily the theater was pretty empty so we moved to the next one to us.
Horribly small, uncomfortable seats. Screens would always have a discoloration on the corners. Horrible sound quality. Too expensive for its worth. Be kind to yourself and go to an ayala mall.
Their ticket app is very unstable so couldn't book online. Huge lines at the theater to get a ticket same at the food line. In the theater, lots of people talking and using their cell phone.
Needs an upgrade on the sound systems. But it's ok. Maybe try director's club, haven't tried that one yet and don't know if it has a better sound system.
Average cinema i think sm might improve the seats its kinda old. Overall nice place to spend your movie.
One of the worst cinemas to go to. Crowded and equipment is outdated. Both audio and video quality are terrible
Guaranteed seating became free for all seating on opening of Avengers End Game April 24. Then we were transferred to another cinema at a later time.
The mall is huuuge. But has limited maps. I havent explored the whole place but the fast foods aren't organized. So looking for a place to eat is a bit challenging.
Decent Cinemas. Decent snack offerings. Confusing and widespread layout of theaters all over large mall sections.
Place was dirty, movie goers were noisy and some even allowed their kids to run around, shout and play during the movie (and movie officer stopped them), floors in some areas were sticky probably to spilled drinks. Sound and picture quality was mediocre and seats were outdated and not that comfortable.
Not worth it.
