Tanawin sa Gulod Restaurant reviews
43Wow fantastic view and friendly staffs. Best place to chill after a long week. Free coffee for campers. Bring jacket get really cold at night
Nice place and good food plus a great company equals to a great experience! Will definitey come back to this place.
We tru bulalu and karekare ox tail
The view is great for taal lake.
The bulalo taste is fair
The karekare is good, but ox tail hindi ko sya makita. The skin is great.
Good view, good service, having your own kubo is an advantage esp during this pandemic but the food is bland. Toilet is also dirty. 3 stars for the view and the service.
Great place. Food is good as well. The view of Taal from the restaurant is really beautiful.
This is a good place to bring your family. Reserve the kubo with a view for a relaxing stay. Food are ok, almost the same woth other restos in Tagaytay. We lile this place because of the kubos plus the view. So you can really relax here.
WARNING: DO NOT EAT HERE IN THIS RESTO.
THEY WILL MAKE YOU WAIT 1 HOUR BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDER.
Great place for bonding. They have available cottages for you to enjoy especially when you are with your family or friends. The food is great as well!
This used to be a good place to unwind but now it's too crowded and the staffs can't handle the amount of people visiting (took 2 hours before they gave us our food) won't be coming back
Ok ang service, ok din view, agahan nyo lang punta limited ang parking area at high cost consumables.hehehe
Rare discoveries.
Went to Tagaytay last sunday. We had a very hard time to look for a resto to eat, why? Because we didn't know that the Tagaytay city proper dont allow children below 18yrs, some areas or not sure though, also dont allow senior citizens above 65 yrs old and pregnant woman. So after a looong drive, good thing when we passed by this area we noticed there was a child going upstairs with his mommy. So, we asked the guard if they allow kids, finally! Yaz! ️
They have a very great view of the Taal.
They even have Kubos. Sorry, didn't had a shot.
You can even setup a tent up hill/outside their overlooking.
Prices are affordable. Food were okay.
Service, hmm.well its understandable, maybe because there were few restos that allow kids. But not that bad, and they have lots of service crews.
They served distilled water.
Men's toilet's flush is broken, hope they get it fixed soon. They also have a washing of hands area.
They have a mini pasalubong like honey? Not sure.guyabano drinks.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
And, you can dine there even without face shields. Of course, face mask is still required for saftey.
They also have a parking area inside and outside. Though they dont have parking attendants at the outside. But there were vendors who will assist you get parked.
The area was big and have disinfectant automatic dispenser.
Lastly, didn't notice any security guards.
But overall, yeah, it was a great place to eat and stay
A new place for dine in with a view in tagaytay. Kids are allowed. You have an option for kubo dining or the open area. Good thing about their kubo is it is equipped with plastic covers attached to the window for sudden pours. They offer camping grounds. You will have to coordinate with the staff for that. The camping grounds is front row view of taal lake. Parking is below the entrance.
Manager/owner and staff are very warm. Sevices are good. The place is so cool plus the view of the Taal lake of Batangas. It's an open air restaurant with some nipa huts where you can also dine. Safe enough for Covid because it's an open air dine areas and with proper distancing of tables. We also appreciate their free coffee and it taste so good. It's our 2nd time in the place and the same good attitude of crews and officer there we experienced. When my sister and her friend will come for a visit here in the Philippines surely I will bring them in Tanawin sa Gulod.
Maganda yung place nag kataon lng na gabi na at maulan kya dko na nakunan ng litrato ang mas magandang view
Food is great. Place is very nice and what's so special is that they allow kids for an open air dining. Exactly what people needs in this very stressful times. A relaxing, enjoyable, family bonding venue
Service is not good. The comfort room is not clean and only have one toilet bowl, no urinal for male cr
Very popular now for its breath-taking view of Laurel, Batangas and the fishpens on that side of Taal Lake. Wonderful stop if going to Alfonso, Cavite, Nasugbu or Lemery, Batangas from NCR. Or, the perfect pit stop coming back from these places on the way back to NCR and beyond.
Food is good. Although, there are a lot of items in the menu that I have not tasted.
Best to visit the place on a weekday to avoid long lines and the crowd lining up to be seated during weekends.

It was a great great great disappointment! I was expecting good food, good place and nice people! Unfortunately the only thing good at Tanawin Sa Gulod is the view of Taal.thats it! Food is overated, the place is dirty, malangaw, no tissue sa toilet ang no flush! Paid P420 for 1 pc piniritong liempo but we ordered lechon kawali.then lumpiang sariwa na mas mukang sariwa pa ang lola.and calamares na soggy, di man lng sila bumawi s dipping sauce. Sad experience! Never again! And Beware!
Good food, nice place and good view of taal volcano.accomodating staffs and friendly owners
The bagnet was perfect! Nice to have early breakfast here because the place is not yet crowded. They have a good view of Taal volcano. Very airy and relaxing!
