Staff was accommodating, the view was majestic. We stopped by here for dinner before heading home and we were not djsappointed. The serving size is good for 2-3 people, as per staff, but can also be good for 3-4 for those with smaller appetite.
Enjoy Filipino comfort food with a real Filipino ambiance at Tanawin sa Gulod Tagaytay!

Went here for an overnight camping. You’ll get the best view of Taal. Affordable rates and very flavorful meals. Unlimited brewed coffee for campers. You should try their Bulalo! Meat was tender, savory broth. Excellent service. Also, people go here for trail biking.

All in all I give a 5 star experience. Definitely the best view of Taal so far. Food was good and customer service was great. I will be dinnng again there soon.
They have a variety of food selections which are affordable. Recommended for families and group gatherings.
Amazing view, good food, very friendly staff and good jamming with the live band. My family and I had a blast! We'll come back to this place again soon.
I enjoy the food and the ambiance. Pet friendly pa sila, malinis ang CR nila at hindi crowded tingnan ang restau
Went here for an overnight camping. The view was amazing We had sinigang sa miso, dynamite, garlic rice, and inihaw na liempo.
Food: Not too pricey like the rest of the restaurants in the area. It was delicious. Good amount of serving. We also didn't have to wait too long to get our food.
Location: Great view and farther from center crowded areas.
Service: Staff was great. Fast service when you order or ask for things.
Please visit this place as it offers one of the most breath taking views of Taal lake and volcano. They open at 9am but if you come in around 8am they can give you a cup of barako coffee while waiting for the restaurant to open. You can sit in one of their huts, sip your coffee while enjoying the relaxing view. You may want to pitch your tent in their campsite and stay overnight. Their food is delicious as well.
Wow fantastic view and friendly staffs. Best place to chill after a long week. Free coffee for campers. Bring jacket get really cold at night
Nice place and good food plus a great company equals to a great experience! Will definitey come back to this place.
Great place. Food is good as well. The view of Taal from the restaurant is really beautiful.
This is a good place to bring your family. Reserve the kubo with a view for a relaxing stay. Food are ok, almost the same woth other restos in Tagaytay. We lile this place because of the kubos plus the view. So you can really relax here.
Great place for bonding. They have available cottages for you to enjoy especially when you are with your family or friends. The food is great as well!
Rare discoveries.
Went to Tagaytay last sunday. We had a very hard time to look for a resto to eat, why? Because we didn't know that the Tagaytay city proper dont allow children below 18yrs, some areas or not sure though, also dont allow senior citizens above 65 yrs old and pregnant woman. So after a looong drive, good thing when we passed by this area we noticed there was a child going upstairs with his mommy. So, we asked the guard if they allow kids, finally! Yaz! ️
They have a very great view of the Taal.
They even have Kubos. Sorry, didn't had a shot.
You can even setup a tent up hill/outside their overlooking.
Prices are affordable. Food were okay.
Service, hmm.well its understandable, maybe because there were few restos that allow kids. But not that bad, and they have lots of service crews.
They served distilled water.
Men's toilet's flush is broken, hope they get it fixed soon. They also have a washing of hands area.
They have a mini pasalubong like honey? Not sure.guyabano drinks.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
And, you can dine there even without face shields. Of course, face mask is still required for saftey.
They also have a parking area inside and outside. Though they dont have parking attendants at the outside. But there were vendors who will assist you get parked.
The area was big and have disinfectant automatic dispenser.
Lastly, didn't notice any security guards.
But overall, yeah, it was a great place to eat and stay
Manager/owner and staff are very warm. Sevices are good. The place is so cool plus the view of the Taal lake of Batangas. It's an open air restaurant with some nipa huts where you can also dine. Safe enough for Covid because it's an open air dine areas and with proper distancing of tables. We also appreciate their free coffee and it taste so good. It's our 2nd time in the place and the same good attitude of crews and officer there we experienced. When my sister and her friend will come for a visit here in the Philippines surely I will bring them in Tanawin sa Gulod.
